Sunday Funday

Hello hello!! So, I am compelled to talk about this culinary experience I had last night. You guys, I swear I ate the yummiest salad Iv'e ever had. No, but seriously.

Let me back up a bit. My Sunday began with another yummy yogurt bowl. Yoplait 100 calorie Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries and strawberries, and some Fiber One Original for some added crunch. This breakfast will never get old.

Anyways, after breakfast, my sister and I went on a long walk, just like every other Sunday morning -cue the old day jokes ;). After walking for about an hour or so, we arrived home to find everyone else had woken up! Everyone else was starving, so we went to Bob Evans for breakfast. I was still full from breakfast, so I enjoyed some yummy green tea.

After breakfast, everyone was in the mood to shop, so we went to Leesburg Outlets where I found the dress. The birthday dress is in my posession, people! I am so excited to wear it and cannot wait until Saturday to show you all. I contributed the economy and bought two pairs of jeans from American Eagle ($10 each!!)  and a gift for RJ ;)

We hurried home to meet my brother and RJ for dinner at a new local restaurant. This place was sooo good.
We started off our meal with an order of crab dip. It was just the perfect amount of creaminess and crab meat was literally dumped on top. It was served with tortilla chips and a fresh baquette for dipping. I'm pretty sure my sister and grandma ate their weight in this dip.
Why so crabby?

For my main dish, I ordered this salad:

Oh dear, I am salivating just thinking about this salad. The goat cheese was deep fried and served on top of the spinach, currants, and peppers. In case you didn't know (I didn't) a currant is similar to a berry and it added the perfect amount of tartness to this dish. I added chicken to my salad for some extra protein.
Mmmm...goat cheese....
We then rushed home to catch the Oscars! Overall, an amazing Sunday :)

Does anyone else watch awards shows just to see the gorgeous gowns?
