As promised, here is a recap of my Superbowl Sunday. Unfortunately, it was not quite as exciting as I was planning but it still turned out to be a fun night with friends.

| Me and Leslie :) |
We left for Baltimore around 2:00 and headed to my best friend Leslie's house. She lives just 20 minutes outside of the city so we parked at her house and she drove to Federal Hill. When we got there, it was already madness. A sea of purple and black jersey's lined the streets, waiting to get into the bars and pubs to watch the game. We parked the car at a side parking lot ($40 for the night!!) and made our way to the bar we were planning on going to,
Mad River. My friend CJ told me this place had the best wings in the world, so I was very excited.

| Black and Purple, baby! |
That excitement was short lived, however, when we saw the line down the block to get in. Ditching that idea, we got in another line for a smaller bar. Now, when I say I was frozen within the first five minutes, I would not be exaggerating. I could not feel anything below my ankles, not even kidding. Desperately wanting to sit down and get warm, me and Leslie wandered off and she texted her friend to see if we could go to his friends Superbowl party. He said yes, and after some coercing of the boys (and a bribe of beer and wings), we got back in the car to go to the party.
We stopped to get some grub (pizza and wings for everyone else, Subway Veggie Delight for me) and went to the house. We ate our goodies and drank delicious adult beverages (don't worry, we had a DD, we know better) while we watched the Ravens win :-D Overall, I had a great time and met some really cool people. AND we didn't have to deal with this on the way home:
