Tonight's workout was a hodge podge of cardio and muscle work. In my rush to get to the gym before it got crowded, I forgot my phone so unfortunately no pictures for you, but all is not lost!
Wednesdays are my abdominal day, but I began my workout with some cardio. I started off my workout with ten minutes on an elliptical to warm up, then ventured over to this beast for another ten minutes:
Holy glute muscles, Batman. This thing is no joke. Basically, it's just a treadmill of stairs that keeps going and going. Within five minutes I was sweating profusely and my legs were a-burnin'! After some quick stretching, I went to the mat to start my ab workout which looked like this:
3 sets of 20 crunches on Bosu Ball
2 sets of 1 min side plank
2 sets of 50 (per side) Dumbell side bends (ouch)
1 set of 50 bicycle crunches
1 set 90 sec plank with feet on Bosu ball
Stretch, stretch stretch!! I will probably still be sore tomorrow, no matter what I do, I am always sore after a workout, so I just embrace it now :)
